Making an impact is key.

Lisa Powell has been involved in banking for nearly 25 years, starting in Collections, and then moving into Treasury Management in the late 90s. She holds the Certified Treasury Professional and Certified Public Funds Investment Manager designations, and presently serves on the board of the Michigan Women in Finance.

When Powell talks about what she loves most about her job, taking on client challenges is high on her list. “You have to consider each individual structure and strategy to find the best financial solutions for your clients, she says. “That means staying current on issues that could impact them down the road.”

Outside of work, she has been making an impact as a committee member for Holland Hospital’s annual Culinary Cabaret fundraiser since 2011.

“We’re able to connect people to a cause through the culinary talents of area restaurants,” said Powell. “I’m very proud to be a part of a committee that helps to raise funds that can bring health care for the uninsured or under-insured to the greater Holland area.”
