Leveraging technology to streamline cash flow.

Born and raised in Michigan, Mark began his career in finance in 1990. Starting as a retail banker, he advanced into commercial banking as a credit analyst, followed by becoming a middle market relationship manager. His resume reads like a who’s who of Midwestern banks: Huntington, Michigan National, Citizen’s, and FirstMerit.

Today, as a sales officer for Flagstar, Machala works closely with his clients to help them facilitate the management of their day-to-day operations. “In this line of work, I leverage technology to help manage and streamline a company’s cash flow. For example, wholesale lockboxes accelerate the speed and reduce the administrative requirements required for clients to collect, process, and deposit customer payments.”

Machala and his team have volunteered their time working with the Forgotten Harvest food bank and clothing drives for Focus Hope.

Outside of Flagstar, he enjoys golfing and attending his daughters’ equestrian events.
