About Cory Mendez

As a Loan Advisor, my main goal is to help guide my clients through the home-buying process with care, efficiency, and attention to detail. 

 

Prior to my time in the mortgage industry, I served my country in the United States Air Force National Guard, including a tour to Iraq during my 8 years of service.  This experience instilled in me the discipline necessary to run my own company, where I gained experience in construction, realty, real estate investments, and mortgage lending.

 

My desire to help others led me to Flagstar, where I could use my expertise as a Personal Relationship Banker.  My deep knowledge of the personal finance and real estate industries allows me to see the big picture and assist my clients in identifying the right loan for each unique situation. I make it my priority to educate my clients so that they are able to make informed decisions. 

 

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children.  We have two daughters and were recently blessed with twins, one boy and one girl.  My hobbies include running and snowboarding.
