Next Steps

Once Flagstar Bank has determined that you qualify for a HARP Refinance, the following steps will assist you in beginning your refinancing process with us. 

1. Gather Financial Information

Before you call, first gather the following financial documents for everyone listed on your home loan. We will need the most recent:

  • pay stubs, or, if self-employed, quarterly or year-to-date profit/loss statement
  • bank statements for all checking and savings accounts
  • tax return

3. Review and Approval

Our loan officer will review the information you provided and determine if you are approved for a HARP refinance
