Keeping you informed about COVID-19
At Flagstar Bank, the health and well-being of our customers, employees, and communities is a top priority.
As the country navigates COVID-19, Flagstar is committed to protecting the health and economic wellbeing of our communities. We are working closely with customers whose lives have been disrupted by the pandemic. Flagstar serves individuals, families, businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. We are part of the community, and we are here for you.
How can we help you?
Banking
As our branch lobbies reopen, the safety of our customers and out employees continues to be our top priority. Like many businesses, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols, installed plexiglass shields, and we wear face protection. We are also monitoring CDC guidelines to make sure we do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Here are a few things you'll need to know for a fast, safe visit:
- Schedule your appointment. Use the schedule appointment link to meet in-person.
- Wear a face mask inside the branch. If you don’t have a mask with you, we’ll give you a disposable one to wear.
- Talk to a greeter. Just inside the door, a greeter will ask for photo identification and ask you to lower your mask. Then, they will ask a few quick health-screening questions.
- Practice social distancing. Stay at least 6 feet away from others.
- Save time. For a faster visit, fill out your deposit slip or other paperwork ahead of time. If you are not feeling well or are experiencing fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please stay home so you can take care of yourself.

Paycheck Protection Program for business customers
Flagstar has fully participated in the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a federal initiative to help businesses keep their workforce employed during COVID-19. Since the program began in March 2020, Flagstar has helped many small businesses and nonprofit organizations secure funding to pay employees and stay current with rent and other payments.
Congress recently approved legislation authorizing additional PPP funding. Flagstar is participating in this new round of financial assistance for our business customers.
For more information, visit our Paycheck Protection Program webpage.
The Federal Reserve established the Main Street Lending Program to support lending to small and medium-sized businesses that were in sound financial condition before the onset of COVID-19. Loans under this Program are full-recourse (not forgivable).
Contact your Relationship Manager to learn more. We encourage you to consult with a professional advisor (CPA or business attorney) about whether participating in this Program is right for you.
Access your deposit account(s)
If you are a business or commercial customer, you can access your deposit account(s) via online banking or Treasury Access (Business Banking). You may also reach out to your relationship manager if you have questions about your loan or line of credit.
