How To Be an Upstander in the Face of Racism (required for all employees)
We believe that creating an anti-racist environment is vital for organizations to succeed. Understanding that everyone comes to the issue of race with different backgrounds and perspectives, employees are encouraged and provided with tools for taking positive actions to serve as allies in the face of racism.
My Role in Diversity and Inclusion Awareness (required for all employees)
This online training course introduces employees to the concept of unconscious bias and explores the impact of biases on their work environments. Through awareness-building activities, they learn that we all have biases along with strategies to interrupt and neutralize them. This awareness helps us become better employees, co-workers, and friends.
The Power of Inclusion
This course challenges employees to examine their roles in creating an inclusive workplace at Flagstar. It also teaches strategies to manage unconscious biases.
Creating an Inclusive Workplace (required for all managers)
This two-hour training enhances participants’ knowledge of the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. It includes discussions of Flagstar’s DE&I vision and guiding principles, the impact of biases, and inclusive leadership best practices. Participants also create action plans for increasing their effectiveness as inclusive leaders.
Transgender Inclusion (required for all employees)
This course provides employees with an understanding of the issues related to gender identity and transgender rights in the workplace. It’s an opportunity to learn and practice how they can create an inclusive environment that is respectful of everyone, including their transgender colleagues and customers.
