If your debit card is lost or stolen, you shouldn't have to pay for purchases you didn’t make. We agree, which is why your debit card is covered by Visa’s Zero Liability Policy.4 Let us know about suspicious charges, and we'll work to resolve them.

Do you need to activate your Flagstar Visa® Debit Card?

What to do if your card is
lost or stolen

  1. Call 888-248-6423 as soon as you realize your card is lost or stolen. 
  2. We will restrict the card from being used and send you a new one.  
  3. Look for fraudulent activity in your transactions. If you find something, you may need to file a fraud dispute.
  4. When your new debit card arrives, update your information wherever you have it stored.

3Reply “stop” to no longer receive SMS Text Messages to verify your Flagstar debit card Transactions. To reactivate, simply reply UNDO. This service is separate and in addition to, Flagstar Account and Security Alerts managed through your online banking account.
